ARC Internship Development Program (IDP)

ARC International offers internships for undergraduate and graduate students.  The internship program is suited to those with a background in the following disciplines:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
• Project Management
• Structural Engineering
• Architecture

ARC International internships offer students the opportunity to work within all of the above-mentioned disciplines. Interns can expect to work closely with all departments who will offer guidance, mentorship and the unique opportunity to work on different prestigious projects at various stages.

Programs

There are two types of internship programs at ARC, distinguished as the Blue program and Green program. The Blue program offers a shorter time line of 6 weeks while the Green program offers an 8-week time line. There are three options to choose from and all are applicable to either program. The options are as follows:

1. Option 1 - Rotation Program: This program offers the intern the opportunity to receive training from all significant areas of the company. The intern will complete the program with a fundamental understanding of how a design consultancy company operates from all aspects. The option covers time in Concept, Production, Planning/ISO, Contract, Human Resources, Document Control and Site.
   
   
2. Option 2 - Design Specialization Program:  This program offers the intern the opportunity to receive specialized training solely within the design aspects of operations within the firm. The intern will spend a considerable amount of time producing and revising design as they roll out to production. The option covers time in Concept and Production.
   
   
3. Option 3 - Customized Program: This program offers the intern the opportunity to personalize the program based on requirements. The intern is expected to review the offered program schedules available in the link below and inform us of selected preferences. This option cannot always be accommodated.

Internship Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited university studying a relevant subject.
• Written & verbal English with Arabic as an advantage.
• Minimum 2nd year with GPA equal to or above 2.5.
  
  

Application Process

• Send CV/Portfolio/Transcript here or email to hr@arc.ae. Include a letter of why you would like to intern at ARC, what you are hoping to gain and why do you consider yourself a good candidate. Please include the program and option you desire in the subject of the email and your preferred dates in body text.
• You will be contacted by HR and if successful you will be invited for an interview.
• A letter of rejection or acceptance will be issued.

The internship offers no guaranteed cash payment. Upon completion of the program, the intern will receive a certificate of completion.
